Landing in Missoula

Hey folks! Just wanted to let you know that we have officially landed in Missoula! Special thanks to all those of you who helped us load up in Billings (especially my dad, who managed to fit WAY more into the U-Haul than any of us thought possible), and to those of you who helped us unload / get settled here on the Missoula end (Kerry Skiles & kids, Daniel & Jen Nairn). We REALLY appreciate all your help, and things are more of less livable at this point - we're in the house, able to cook / eat / sleep (and undress at this point, now that we have curtains on most of the windows).

Christian has been building shelves in closet, pantry, etc. And Marilyn has been slowly unpacking all the stuff that has been in boxes for the past 4 years. And the kids... (dramatic pause here)... went to school today for the first time ever and actually survived. It was kind of funny because Rebekah was the most worried of the three, and yet (just as we expected), came home all excited about how she's already made 3 friends etc.

Speaking of friends, if you live in the Missoula area (or are just passing through), please feel free to drop in and say hi. We have a handful of people we hope to connect with soon, and if you know of someone who lives here, we'd love to have you introduce us to them. I'd love to tell you about some of the folks we've already met - our neighbors next door, Shannon at Home Depot, a guy who owns one of the fly fishing shops downtown - but it'll have to wait for a bit. At this point, we still don't have our own internet access yet, so blogging and email will be sporadic at best, at least through the end of the week.

That pretty much covers it for now. We appreciate your prayers, and look forward to settling in here in Missoula. Come see us when you get a chance...
