Spaceship Earth

So a couple of days ago, I posted about Rock Balancing and Intelligent Design over at SLD. That inspired my friend Karyn to try her hand at this art, first at home, then on campus! (For those of you who don't know them - Karyn and her husband Mark are a delightfully eclectic couple that we've been getting to know of late, first through WTS, then through blogging, and more recently over Sunday evening dinners).

At any rate, Karyn has a serious artistic streak, and she has been so taken with rock balancing that she gave me my own rock balancing "travel kit" the other day. Tonight, while studying in the Westminster Cafe, Malachi pulled out the kit and began experimenting. What you see up above is what he created this even when we got home! I took a couple of photos from slightly different angles, which you can view over here on the photoblog.
